NAMI Family Support Group is led by a trained facilitator. It is open to family members, caregivers and loved ones of individuals living with mental illness. Gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar circumstances.
NAMI’s Support Groups are unique because they follow a structured model, ensuring everyone has an opportunity learn information, tips, and support from facilitators and other participants.
Our support groups that focus on allowing participants to share their experiences and learn from each other in a safe environment. We don’t take attendance.
Family Support Group is free and open to any family member with a loved one living with mental illness. Student or non-participant observation is not permitted.
The Family Support Groups are open only to family members of a loved one with mental illness seeking support, compassion, and education about caring for their loved one. Register to be on our meeting list.

The Family Support Group at Baptist caters to families of youth and young adults experiencing mental health conditions.
By sharing your experiences in a safe and confidential setting, you gain hope and develop supportive relationships. This group allows your voice to be heard, and provides an opportunity for your personal needs to be met. It encourages empathy, productive discussion and a sense of community. You’ll benefit through other’s experiences, discover your inner strength and learn now to identify local resources and how to use them.
Connection Recovery Support Groups are open only to individuals living with mental illness who are seeking support, compassion, and recovery.
Youth (high school age) Support Groups and Young Adult (age 18-30) Support Groups are open only to individuals withing the age ranges with mental illness seeking support, compassion, and education about recovery.
